TERRIFIC TURRET !
On the 31 of July 2011 the new Gun Turret Attraction will arrive! In London on the 31 of July 2011 Hms Belfast will give you a amazing chance to look around the ship, to see what it would be like to live and fight at sea.
In 1943 HMS Belfast would have 26 men working in a confined space at once! This warship has triple gun turrets. Hms Belfast was built in March 1938. In 1943 was North Cape HMS Belfast was sent to destroy the Germen ship Scharnhorst with other English ships, they sunk it with great success. The sailors said “The smell was horrible it smelt of sweat and cheesy feet. The noise was ridiculously loud so they had to wear ear muffs.”
You could have this experience it dose not cost much, easy to get to and a amazing experience.

mrs randles and mr smith has been rather serious about the play.
I am gooseneck in the play and I originaly had 14 lines (including the parts where evreone speaks) but now I think I have 5 lines.Oh well I think its better than nothing I am glad I have a part in the play.

LITERACY !
In literacy this morning we have been working very hard.The story we have been working on is the butterfly lion,it is a brilliant story to work on and we have been doing some fantastic work on it .

Soon all of the year 6 will be invovled in the end of year 6 play which is Pirartes of the Curry Bean.The year 6 will be doing there best to make it a amazing show.

This morning in class Mrs Randles read us the story of Butterfly lion after she read it we finished it with a resalution and a ending .
What we did today!
Today in maths we finished some work on our project, and drew in our furniture to size and finished looking for them. At 10:10 we went to assembly and listened to a sharing story. After that, it was Play time! Me and my friends played a graet game. Literacy time, we listened to part of a story The butterfly lion by Michael Morpurgo. Then we had to write a paragraph or to about what we thought was going to happen later on in the story. Then, at 12:00 we came into the ict suite and wrote this post (well i did) then we have to make a few backgrounds for our animation.
